THIRD MENWITH WOMAN TURNS HERSELF IN |
|
Angie Zelter, who cut the fence at Menwith Hill last year along with Helen John and Anne Lee, is to turn herself in to the police in Cromer, Norfolk, at 11pm tonight. We anticipate that she will then be transferred to Harrogate Magistrate's court tomorrow, Wednesday 30 May. We do not yet know if she will also be sentenced then, as the judge who sentenced Helen and Anne had to be brought up from Nottingham for the occasion. More information will be sent out as it becomes available. The action was a joint Menwith Hill Women's Peace Campaign/Trident Ploughshare 2000 action. Press information is available from either contact. Menwith Hill Women's Peace campaign: 01943-468593 Trident Ploughshares e-mail: tp2000@gn.apc.org Website: www.tridentploughshares.org |
