Stuffed with copies of the "Morning Star", Flossie patiently sits for 22 hours on a wall near the golf balls until ... she is taken into custody ... where she is shredded in the search for a 'device'. However, "You can't kill the spirit" and Flossie goes on and on with her daring exploits ... supergluing a padlock ... climbing the security fence ... on a loo in the base ... holding on to the blue light of a police car. She never complains about the smoke from the camp fire ... she raises the red flag on the roof of Steeplebush II Operations BLock ... she falls off Low Newton Prison Wall ... but ... eventually ... she was run down by MoD police and squashed!! 2-9-96. |
 | All dressed up and nowhere to go
Flossie decides to revive the traditional Maypole dance on the Ancient British site of Menwith Hill. Despite her obvious prowess as an entertainer she does not receive an invitation to the leaving ceremony of the station commander. As this is obviously an oversight, she goes anyway. With the help of a couple of friends she enters the rear of the VIP tent and waits for the ceremony. |
