We urgently need lots more cars/vans to join the 'CAABalcade procession of cars/vans which will leave NSA Menwith Hill and drive to Whitby via Fylingdales.

10 am - Meet at the layby on the A59 (Harrogate to Skipton road) opposite the Black Bull pub - just before turning to the American NSA base at Menwith Hill

10.30 - Drive to main entrance at Menwith Hill - public reading of the Declaration of Independence from American militarism (copies available on the day)

10.45 - Drive in procession via Harrogate to Pickering to Fylingdales approx time

12.30 - Arrive Fylingdales - read Declaration again

1 pm - Drive to Whitby

1.30-2.0 pm -  join the Demonstration (organised by Fylingdales Action Network - supported by Yorkshire CND)

Afternoon in Whitby - (a day out at the seaside!) - leafletting, stalls, petition etc

5 pm Walk to the beach - burning of a model of Fylingdales and Menwith 'golfball' on beach

The police will accompany us - they will want to make sure that the 'CAABalcade' is safe and any decorations on the cars are safely secured.  When we get to Fylingdales the Whitby police will accompany us down to Whitby.
